PADI NATURALIST SPECIALTY
This course is designed to be an introduction to the underwater aquatic environment and to help the student diver develop safe and responsible interaction with aquatic life. The course includes 2 dives which can be conducted from a boat or from the shore, with a PADI Instructor.
Prerequisites:
To qualify for the Underwater Naturalist Diver course, an individual must:
1. Be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver, Junior Open Water Diver or have a qualifying certification from another training organization.
2. Be 10 years of age or older.
The Underwater Naturalist Dive from the PADI Adventures in Diving program may be counted toward the certification requirements for this specialty.
