EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONDER

The Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) and Secondary Care (First Aid) course teach people how to provide emergency care for someone in need.  You will need a First Aid qualification in order to do your Rescue Course.

This course makes learning easy by providing an environment in which participants practise and apply emergency care skills.

The course is designed to:

1) help participants remember appropriate emergency care procedures during times of need, and

2) encourage them to apply those procedures by assisting those needing emergency care.

We run this course as a 1-day program held at our Dive Centre. (It is a pre-requisite for students to have a current First Aid certificate, completed within the last 24 months, before commencing the PADI Rescue Course). First Aid skills can be taken utilised outside of the diving arena and applied at home or in the workplace so this course is open to everyone, not just those planning to go on to do their PADI Rescue Diver Course.
