A new dive sites directory has recently been set up which is aimed at offering lots of information about dive locations and specific dive sites as well as providing divers with the opportunity to comment, rate and upload their on experiences and photographs.
The World's Greatest Dive Sites can be found at www.greatestdivesites.com and is a cool way to share information, meet new divers and share information about sightings and marine life.
Oonas Dive Club supports the Tankbangers at LIDS
Oonas Dive Club is very proud to support the The Tank Bangers in their innovative work raising awareness about the plight of our underwater world. So, we were more than happy to provide a free holiday at Oonas for a prize draw on the Tankbangers stand at the London Dive Show. Congratulations to Rachel Hurst whose winning entry was drawn by none other than Monty Halls!
Congratulations JP 1000 dives
Congratulations to Oonas Dive Club regular, John Parmiter (affectionatley known as JP) who recently completed his 100th dive despite being partially paralysed by polio at the age of 17. This remarkable feat was achieved during John's 35th visit to Oonas which was kindly sponsored by Divemaster Insurance. He is seen here celebrating with his private guide Amy and other staff and all our guests.
